Recently my coworkers and I went to our local community eatery, Grandview. There is a nice variety of restaurants ranging from ramen, pizza, sushi, Cajun, Greek and also offer a coffee shop and libations bar. I usually stick to my usual drinks when I am out, but I’d say these last four months or so have been adventurous in trying new cocktails. I saw the lady standing next to me order a Havana Moon, take a sip, and say the most exquisite, “Mmmm, now that’s good.” Upon my turn of ordering I turn to the waiter and said, “I’ll have what she’s having.” One sip of my drink and, “Mmmmm, yes indeed, that is so good.” This is an easy cocktail with accessible ingredients that you can make this weekend and share with your family. It’s light and refreshing, and definitely not as strong as you think judging from all of the liquors in the cocktail. Bottoms up party people! Enjoy this refreshing Havana Moon!
